We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2016 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth and New England with exciting ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

APP INVENTOR 2: FREE, FUN, AND EASY!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

An introduction to App Inventor 2, for those with no experience with App Inventor, and those who have used the prior version, and want to learn the newest version . I'll demonstrate how easy it is to set up an account and get started. I'll share examples of student-created apps and useful resources for educators and learners. I'll review changes from the prior version to the new version, to help prior users to transition. Participants will have an opportunity to create a simple app, using their laptop, and then use their app on their Android smartphone or tablet.  If you don't have an Android device, you can still test your app.  HERE ARE THE SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:  http://appinventor.mit.edu/explore/ai2/setup.html
