We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2016 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth and New England with exciting ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

Weston Public Schools has been implementing a powerful and flexible Data Visualization Tool in our district for the past year.  Using Tableau and its integration with our student information system (Infinite Campus), we have been putting our data to use for purposes ranging from macro analysis of demographics and assessment scores to day-to-day management of custom attendance policies.  In some cases, we have replaced paper documents with more versatile digital versions, and in others the very availability of data visualization has inspired new and different uses whose only analogy had been extensive legwork by our faculty and staff.  The road hasn't been easy, and was not without false starts and revisions.  Join us to discuss the strengths and challenges of embracing data visualization in your district.
