We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2016 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth and New England with exciting ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

The Middle School Pathways in Computer Science project provides students, project-based computing experiences to encourage interest in computer science. Using MIT’s App Inventor, a block coding environment, students learn to make real apps on inexpensive android devices. Learn about our experiences in professional development, middle school curriculum development and implementation.

Come away with ideas and materials on how to integrate a short introduction to Computing for middle school aged kids!
