We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2016 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth and New England with exciting ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

Developing Digital Literacy Curriculum for a 1:1 program

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

At Concord Middle School we developed a new year-long, 2x a 6 day cycle, Digital Literacy course for 6th graders to support their citizenship and skills as digital learners. This workshop provides an overview of our DL course outline and resources with ideas you can take away for developing curriculum for your own 1:1 program.

I teach the 6th grade Digital Literacy, 6th grade Animation (Scratch), 7th grade iMovie and 8th grade Coding (code.org and html). | | We've developed a Digital Literacy curriculum for our 1 to 1 program that includes a Tech Matrix for student growth, a Digital Literacy Portfolio and integrates lessons from Common Sense Media. I look forward to sharing at the MassCue conference this year.
