We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2016 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth and New England with exciting ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

From Real Authors to Student Authors

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

How much time do you spend searching for writing apps or downloadable writing prompts? Just think. Aren’t your students reading great literature by great authors every day? Why not just show them how those magicians do their tricks?

Inspired by the work of Francis Christensen, this session will explore how to take the best examples from your classroom literature and use them to inspire great writing from your students. The unique, copyrighted method is simple, and the results are immediate and dramatic.

Lesson plans will  be offered, along plenty of examples, and online access to all attendees who wish to learn more. This will change the way you teach writing.
