We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2016 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts. We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth and New England with exciting ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.
PBS has built a huge database of educational materials available for free to teachers. But many are not aware of all the resources available. This will provide a quick walk through of some of the resources they are providing.
The presenter will highlight apps that facilitate game based learning in the language classroom, and demonstrate with examples from the classroom. The apps include Kahoot, Duolingo's TinyCards, and Edpuzzle.

The presenter will demonstrate how Minecraft is used in the classroom to teach about Ancient Roman architecture and digital literacy. The presentation will demonstrate how Minecraft can be integrated as a teaching tool and include student-created screencasts of the class final project.
