We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2016 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth and New England with exciting ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

Milestones
Music Teacher/ Assistive Tech
Waltham, Massachusetts
Music Teacher/Assistive Tech at Milestones Inc. in Waltham, MA, a day school & transitions program serving students ages 7-22. In my music classes I utilize a smartboard, iPads, apple tv, google docs and google classroom. The music apps I use are garageband, isle of tunes and launchpad(ask me about these music apps if you'd like.) I have the students go onto music making online sites like incredibox, isle of tunes, inudge and brainpop's one man band. (some sites are geared to curtain ages and some are for all ages, ask about these sites too)

For tech I teach a class called Apps for Life at the school and this is for the post high school students in our transition program. Mainly we focus on apps and google docs that the students will be using for enhancing their lives during and after leaving the school. The google bundle apps like (Maps, google app, google calendar and drive) have been our main focus because we have students that have low tech like flip phones to android smartphones and iPads and iPhones but all have access to a computer and internet. This class is always prompted to check their emails and they get assignments and announcements on google classroom. (If you don't know what google classroom is just ask its great.)

I have been certified trained in google docs so please ask me anything about google drive, calendar and email. (maps and classroom)
