In her current role, 6-12 Technology Integration Specialist, Johanna developed the Emerging Technology program where she works closely with student-tech leaders helping them attain and practice media-fluency skills to better prepare them for their future.  Charged with designing and oversight of a school makerspace, Johanna works with teachers and students to incorporate hands-on, in-context, meaningful project-based learning experiences that engage and deepen student understanding. Johanna believes that leveraging technology can both enhance and transform education and likes to share that with the world. This year she's been selected as a member of the first MassCUE Champions Cohort.
